Star
The brief was to redesign ApiNic’s existing identity, creating a more contemporary and cohesive brand system while preserving its connection to traditional Romanian apiculture.
The new identity needed to improve consistency across packaging and communication, support a growing range of products, and establish a stronger foundation for the brand’s future development.
Star of Bethlehem is a visual identity created for Design de Crăciun, a Christmas design exhibition organised by the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design at UNAGE Iași, Romania.

The Guidance
Of The Sky
Four outward-facing typographic brackets form the central symbol, pointing towards the cardinal directions.
Inspired by the Star of Bethlehem, the mark connects the ancient idea of celestial guidance with the visual language of programming.

From Code
to Volume
The star evolves from a flat symbol into a three-dimensional object.
Through material, light and perspective, the identity gains a spatial dimension, becoming the central element of the exhibition's visual communication.

Mapping the Constellations
The night sky becomes a digital map.
Constellations are reconstructed through ASCII characters, transforming astronomical patterns into a typographic system of points, symbols and connections.

A Letter
From The Stars
The special invitation combines a folded cover and a removable postcard into a two-piece construction.
Printed on metallic blue paper with white ink and reflective foil details, the invitation turns the act of opening a letter into a physical extension of the identity.
